I'm still not feeling really well.
Verry tired, exhausted even and it has been way too hot to cycle last week [at least for me, I'm not going to cycle when it's above 30 degrees celsius outside XD]

I have made a small trip back to the city with my parents to watch the fireworks during the Nijmeegse vierdaagse but that's it.

Today was going to be a beautiful day though and I managed to push myself into getting ready. By the time the bike was packed I was feeling pretty excited.

The first part of the trip wasn't that new to me. It went to the Maasdijk [dike near the river Maas], following the same route I took when I went to the gardens of Appeltern [click here to read that log] .
It's a beautiful beautiful road.. Love it so much.

The castle itself is pretty and fun to see.. however, it's not a time-consuming outing. There isn't much to do or see once you have cycled/walked around it so I recommend combining the trip with something else you want to do..
There's lots to enjoy around here. the scenery is gorgeous and peaceful... I love this country so so much...
